Facility sets up a table of food that is for teachers purchase only. This facility has a .2600 permit which allows them to sell food to the school, adults, children and the general public. This means that all food for sale is regulated and should be treated as the food that is sold to children. Foods should be prepackaged or under adequate sneeze guards. To correct the violation under current conditions, an employee of the kitchen will portion the foods for adults and hand it to them. Teachers using the dishsink, one teacher entered through the back door. Employees of the school (teachers) do not need to have free access of the kitchen, the handsink only is permitted for use by those that are not food service employees or their approved staff.

Thermometers need to be cleaned of all food debris before placing in sanitizer bath (cleaned and sanitized before placing in holders). After using suggest removing all food with a disposable towel, placing in sanitizer container for 2 minutes minimum and then storing in a clean empty container. That way when a thermometer is needed during operation it will be cleaned, sanitized and dry.
