gpm reading from flow meter 420 gpm. maximum flow from pump curve states max flow as 395 gpm. maindrains are rated for 460 GPM. Back gate is locked and must remain locked at all times. Wading pool is not permitted and access to wading pool must remain locked until the wading pool is permitted. 911 operator shows location registered to an individual and does not indicate the call originates from the pool. recommend having this changed with phone company to indicate call come from pool. No Night swimming.
Fence was constructed prior to 2010 and does not meet .2528 (a). It has areas where there is over 2" between ground and bottom of fence, where fence meets the building there is less then 45" between ledge on building and horizontal members on fence. It is recommended to repair to meet all of .2528 (a).

Both items resulting in an intent have been repaired-Intent Lifted. New spring installed on gate to self close and self latch, new flow meter installed and operating.
Front gate is not self closing and self latching at all distances, all of the time. Repair the gate so it always self closes and self latches each time opened.
There are areas of the fence where there is over 2" between bottom of fence and ground-where the fence meets the building, there is less then 45" between ledge on building and horizontal member on fence. Pool was constructed prior to 2010 so it is only recommended to repair.

No Night Swimming. Gate attendant on duty issuance of a permit by this dept does not negate closure required by Exe. Order 120 or subsequent orders in effect unless such orders are rescinded or superseded by another applicable order.
Several spots on parking lot side fence are damaged! Fence is leaning! Several pickets are bent and there is more than 4" between vertical pickets. Repair fence! Gates must meet new rule for spacing! If vertical pickets are more than 1.75" apart, there must be 45" between horizontal members. 1/2" steel/aluminum mesh can be placed on outside of gate to 48" high to meet this requirement! Service fence at pump room must also meet the requirements! Call 919-989-5194 if there are any farther questions. Complete by beginning of next pool season. Pool closes 9/2/19, intent not issued today.

Water is still in light fixtures inside the pool. These lights cannot have any water in the fixtures. CPO states wiring has been removed and breaker disconnected. Johnston county building inspections must do an electrical inspection in order for pool permit to be issued. It is recommended that if pool lighting is disconnected to remove fixtures and plaster over these openings.
Water was a little cloudy during the time of inspection. The main drain was not clearly visible. The pool must be clear enough to clearly see the bottom of the pool and main drain.

Pool and fence were constructed prior to April 1, 2010, there fore it is in compliance with rule 15A NCAC 18A .2528c. Fencing was found to have several vertical members greater than 4" apart. it is recommended to make adjustments to fencing in order to bring in to compliance with 15A NCAC 18A .2528 a2. Gate was found to be out of compliance in regards to self-closing/latching. Pool management was notified and installed a new latch that worked correctly. The gate is now in compliance.
All safety equipment and signs are in place. Main drains secure. Emergency telephone works. Permit issued. Info on Electrical System Safety at Public Swimming Pools left with operator.
Proper equalizer cover was put in place of plug that was installed as an emergency repair during last inspection.
